National Mills Weekend,

Mill On the Air   The following stations will be operated by members of SARS.

Stone Cross Windmill                    GB0SXW

Windmill Hill Herstmonceux           No activity this year.

Mills in the UK and Europe will be participating in this event. Operation will be mainly on 40m and 80m plus 2m FM.

G8DXU will be at our Beachy Head site Sunday from 1030 until around 1500. G1KAR/P will probably be active  to contacting as many mills as possible on HF and VHF. All members are invited to attend and operate if they wish.

BHRS should be open today to participate in National Mills weekend.

Our low noise environment and good aerials should allow us to contact mills stations without the interference problems usually encountered at the sites themselves!

G1KAR/P looks forward to communicating with our club stations operating from local mills on HF and VHF.

AirTime is currently slightly reduced in size but it is hoped to include more material in future editions as time permits.

Three or more SARS members and friends will be in Drewsteignton for the annual Fayre over the weekend.

We would appreciate calls probably, on  40m or 60m from fellow SARS members. Scheduled time for the net will probably be around 1600 local.

Frequencies to be advised here.

7.143MHz USB or as near as possible.  Callsign G8DXU/P will also use 60m 5.4055 MHz Clansman dial freq. (5.4035 on amateur sets) USB.

We will be using military PRC320 manpack sets with USB only.
