20February 20, 2021SSB Net on 144.325 MHz and HF for Members and guests.February 20, 2021 N/A We are planning to run what will be our 5th SSB net today, starting on 144.325 MHz USB at 1400. ALL MEMBERS AND INDEED ANY LOCAL AMATEURS ARE VERY WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE. If you are busy just an exchange of signal reports will be absolutely fine! Frequency will change to 28.320MHz USB from about 1500 Some members will change to Top Band (160m) 1976kHz USB after the 10m net has finished. For those that have a suitable aerials or a good ATU this is a great band with mostly 5/9 reports achievable, even with mobile aerials. PLEASE LISTEN FOR G8DXU/P WHO WILL ACT AS CONTROL STATION ON 144.325 MHz at 1400 USB on Top Band is used due to some of our members having ex military kit with USB only. |
