Sat 5th Jun 2021(1 event) 77th Anniversary of D-Day Landings, N/A The 6th of June marks the 77th anniversary of the D-Day landings at Normandy. SARS has use of special event callsign GB2SF we can use this from our station at Beachy Head to commemorate the occasion and the importance of the DECCA navigation beacon (C slave station) established nearby. Interested members should look at Forum where there is a thread giving details and inviting ideas and comments about arrangements for the proposed weekend. Whilst there are a couple of volunteers we are now rapidly running out of time to organize anything special!
