25January 25, 2021SARS Online Talk: Amateur Radio & 3D Printing by Dr Jonathan Hare G1EXGJanuary 25, 2021 After many members indicated an interest in online talks, we're happy to announce that a talk on Amateur Radio & 3D Printing by Dr Jonathan Hare will be held via Zoom on Monday 25th Jan 2021 at 8pm: Jonathan Hare (G1EXG) has found 3D printing to be a fantastic prototyping tool for the Radio Amateur. This talk is a beginners guide to 3D printing: what it is, how it works and what you might do with a 3D printer. Jonathan has been having a lot of fun experimenting with 3D printing since 2014 and has written 3 articles about the subject in RadCom. He also has an article in the current RadCom Plus on-line magazine. Please see his web site for free downloads of the articles and more info: http://www.creative-science.org.uk/3D.html All members are very welcome to join - Zoom meeting info has been emailed to the membership. |
