We aim to be a friendly group of like-minded individuals who are interested in amateur radio and electronics. Our monthly meetings usually comprise of either a presentation by a speaker on a subject of interest, a bring & tell or sale of radio & electronic items..
Our meetings tend to begin with a short preamble from the club chairman on any monthly updates, with tea, coffee and biscuits available beforehand. Many often hang around afterwards for a chat too.
Date & time
Our club meets on the first Monday of each month throughout the year with the exception of bank holidays Mondays, when the next Monday in the month is chosen.
The doors will be open by 7:30pm and our meetings start at 8:00pm.
Our meetings generally close around 10:00 pm.
Further information on individual meetings can be found in the events calendar.
The rooms
Our club rooms have ample seating and tables already laid out, providing members/guests with space to bring along and demonstrate equipment/projects.
We also have our own tea/food bar area – a sum of 50p is asked for cups of tea or coffee and biscuits to cover our costs.
