West Dean English Heritage Open Days. 15th-16 Sept.

This event enjoyed some great sunny weather and a record attendance!

With many thanks to those SARS members, their friends and family who visited us during the weekend. There was a lot of interest in our working displays of WWII radio equipment and special event station GB1WD.  

English Heritage Open days allow the public to gain access to some excellent historic locations with this one being centred on the Old Coach house and entirely free to visitors. 

Superb on-site catering and the Harvey’s Brewery mobile shop were certainly an added bonus to hungry and thirsty visitors!
