VHF Field Day 6m-23cm) VHF Field Day 6m-23cm)
N/A
Sat 3rd Jul 2021 – Sun 4th Jul 20211400-1400 UTC (Duration depending upon band)
An opportunity for the society to make an entry in VHF Field Day. All equipment used needs to be transported to the chosen site within 24 hours before the contest start time. Here is an opportunity for SARS members to field a team and perhaps operate from BHRS. (At BHRS no existing facilities can be used during this event.)
It has been proposed that we just enjoty this event and give a few points away to others! This could be another oportunuity to camp at BHRS and have a BBQ Saturday evening. We do not have to enter the actual competition!

We will probably make a token entry in this event on this interesting band. Sporadic Es are sometimes present at this time of year making communications possible over long distances.
Members who wish to operate and or Log during this contest should please see the Forum thread and leave their details as appropriare.
