    SARS members will be travelling to Dartmoor and camping on the High Moors. There will be opportunities to attempt radio communications with the group early Friday evening. Callsigns G8DXU/P, M0JAO/P with M6EYO, M6ONX

    Proposed frequency 7.141 (7.143MHz on Clansman) using USB at 1800 local time. Backup frequency 5.4005 Clansman.

    We will move on to Drewsteignton Saturday for the Teignton Fayre and remain there on Sunday.

    Members are invited to communicate from BHRS to members at the TEIGNTON FAYRE in Drewsteignton Devon.

    Bands used will be 40m & 60m Frequency 7.141 (7.143MHz Clansman sets) USB  at 1500 local time, backup frequency 5.4005MHz USB Clansman.(5.3985MHz others) 60m channels for Full Licence holders only. We will be very pleased to hear for any other amateurs using Clansman equipment. OUR CALLSIGN WILL BE G8DXU/P from Dartmoor and G1KAR/P at Eastbourne Beachy Head.

    Preparations are being made for the Priory Lane Vintage Vehicle Rally. Radio contacts from BHRS to this event on Sunday 12th are encouraged. Members are asked to liaise with the site key-holders to arrange operating schedules for this rally.

    Military vehicle exhibits, including Land Rover Defender 110 FFR from G8DXU with Clansman Radios will be on display. And probably early 1948 Series One owned by Richard M6EYO.

    Very Good and well attended local Vintage Vehicle Rally at Langney FC Sports Field, Priory Lane, Eastbourne.

    Operation Blue Ham with the Air Cadet Organisation starts at 1200 on 60m ending at 1200 Sunday. We can operate this exercise in parallel with the 50MHz contest.

    50MHz Contest 1400z - 2000z (1500-2100 local time) 6h Open Section. We now have high power capability from our usual a good location. Members interested in operating or logging please contact G8DXU

    Along with other military vehicles G8DXU will be exhibiting his Land Rover FFR at the Senlac Classic Vehicle Show at Bodium today.
