Beachy Head Meeting 40/80m AFS Contest,

40m / 80m AFS Contest 1400-1800

Another important event in the AFS calendar. There is usually lots of activity on these bands and another great opportunity to practice ones HF operating. Individual RSGB membership is not necessary for AFS events.

BHRS will be open from 1300 or before.

Proposed deployment of the 4m beam and a venture onto 70MHz SSB to create and check on any activity.

It is my intention to try the IC-7300 on this band. Anyone interested please use the Forum for contact.

Contest starts at 0900 until 1300 UTC

Members that can assist with operating or logging are requested to see the Forum on this site.

LATEST.........Arrive at BHRS 0900 to set up. Operate three hours 1000-1300 which should be sufficient. With thanks for those that have responded to the Forum.
