There as been a good response to calls for operators and loggers to participate in this event.
Our entry will be from BHRS which will open at 0900. Please see the Forum entry from G8DXU who will coordinate operating schedules.
We are always pleased to receive calls from members and perhaps any local amateurs who wish to contact our station G1KAR/P
The AFS events are an important part of the society contest calendar, contributing to our position in the Super League table.

G8DXU intends to be active in these events from BHRS on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th with 50MHz being one of our preferred bands. We have a Linear Amp available for 6m which will enable us to run full legal power on this band.
Running the station somewhat depends upon the response received from members wishing to participate in these events. Please use the Forum thread to indicate your interest and to see that already received. These things all require some effort from members if they are going to happen!.
