    VHF Field Day 6m-23cm)

    N/A
    Sat 3rd Jul 2021 Sun 4th Jul 2021

1400-1400 UTC (Duration depending upon band)

An opportunity for the society to make an entry in VHF Field Day. All equipment used needs to be transported to the chosen site within 24 hours before the contest start time. Here is an opportunity for SARS members to field a team and perhaps operate from BHRS.  (At BHRS no existing facilities can be used during this event.)

It has been proposed that we just enjoty this event and  give a few points away to others! This could be another oportunuity to camp at BHRS and have a BBQ Saturday evening. We do not have to enter the actual competition!

  • STEP 4 Changes in Social restrictions due to COVID 19

Category: General STEP 4 Changes in Social restrictions due to COVID 19

    Mon 19th Jul 2021

Postponed from 21st June. Today marks Step 4 in the Governments roadmap for the gradual lifting of social distancing controls.

Whilst most of these restrictions have now been lifted, it would still be wise to exercise caution when making contact with others. Please take the actions required as appropriate to your own perceived level of risk.

Fortunately most members will have had both doses of the vaccination. Prudent members will also, regularly use the free Lateral Flow Test kits for their own assurance and the continued protection of others.
