Exercise Blue Ham 21-2,

N/A
Sat 16th Oct 2021 Sun 17th Oct 2021

Ecercise Blue Ham

This is where Air Cadet and other military stations invite radio amateurs to contact them on the  5 MHz (60m) band. It is NOT a Contest and just involves the passing of signal reports and Locator information giving both cadets and anateurs valuable practice in message handling.

60m is open to Full licenses only, being a great oportunity to use your IC-7300, IC-705 Clansman PRC320 or other capable transceiver.

Update from G8DXU.............Due to the unexpected heavy rain I will not be opening BHRS for Blue Ham on Saturday. Operations will continue as planned for Sunday.

G8DXU will probably be active late morning on Saturday 16th at our Beachy Head site, using call G1KAR/P.

SARS members can participate from their own or mobile locations. Alternatively they are invited to BHRS to observe or operate as desired. The exercise continues Sunday and we may well operate in parallel with the 50 MHz AFS event.  NOTE Callsigns cannot be active on two bands at the same time.
