Sat 27th Aug 2022(1 event) Festival of Transport (Hellingly) GB2FT, N/A Vintage Steam and commercial Show with trade stands and catering also on site. Some of the regular members have stepped back from organizing a society display this year. It is hoped that this may prompt others to get involved and do the necessary work to establish a club exhibit. Whilst there will be no official entry from SARS, several members will almost certainly be exhibiting their vehicles. This includes Series One Land Rovers from Richard 2E0JXU and Jon M0JAO . Barry G8DXU will enter his Land Rover Defender 110 Tithonus FFR with the usual display of Clansman sets. GB2FT having been reserved by Barry and Andy 2E0GNE who will be operating this call on frequencies 1976 kHz AM/USB, 28.320 MHz USB and 51.70 MHz FM. Other bands may also be used. Calls to GB2FT from members and any other stations are most welcome. We normally have a listening watch at 1400 (Local) each show day and will put out calls on the above frequencies. (It can take us some minutes for us to switch bands) |
